MISSION STATEMENT
Nourish Ministries is a Christ-centered, interdenominational, nonprofit organization with the mission to equip & empower fellow believers by developing their God-given purpose, plan, and potential.
VISION STATEMENT
Nourish is a verb. In times of famine, there is a need to supply support. During the emotional and spiritual famine, to encourage, to foster, to provide is to nourish. Exodus 17:12 gives a beautiful example of supplying support – “When Moses' arms grew tired, Aaron and Hur brought a stone for him to sit on, while they stood beside him and held up his arms, holding them steady until the sun went down.” Moses was a mighty man of God and yet there were times when he needed the support of his friends. This passage gives us a beautiful example of what this ministry will be – coming alongside our sisters and brothers right where they are at; to hold them up when they are feeling weak and exhausted.
My vision is to meet those in the faith community that need a space to explore healing and restoration through the development of a personal life plan and continued prayer, discipleship, and mentoring. By creating this solid foundation to stand on, the goal is to provide renewed hope and a sense of being fully nourished to move into your God-given calling.
The church is finding that the younger generations are seeking solutions to problems in creative ways, and oftentimes they employ several methods to solve one issue. Having several methods of healing available can give a wonderful opportunity for a person to find true and lasting healing both emotionally and spiritually. These creative ways of nourishing a person’s heart and soul can be what brings them back to faith. An artistic person might find their healing through prophetic painting. A person who loves to move might find renewed strength and freedom in dance. There should not be a one-size-fits-all answer to healing the broken-hearted.
As spiritual & emotional nourishment happens, my vision is that those who have experienced the transformative power of God’s love will turn around and share it with the next person. Our prayer is that through this healing experience, ministers will be raised up and sent out.
As the ministry grows, my vision is to train others to help in coaching healing & restoration through discipleship, art, dance, worship, and prayer.
